Essential First Aid for Parents and Babysitters

Content :    

This is a basic course covering the most common emergencies affecting babies and children.

 If you have topics specific to your environment you would like included, just let us know

Assessment :  

There is no formal assessment for this course. The tutor will assess each student during the course, ensuring that the information is fully understood

Certification :  A Certificate of Attendance will be issued.

Who should take this course? :  

This is ideal for community groups, mother and toddler groups, play groups (parents, not staff) and sixth forms

The course is suitable for anyone who is looking after children, non professionally and would like the peace of mind of knowing how to cope with an emergency. Professional child carers should consider one of our Paediatric First Aid courses

What do I need to host this course? :

A room big enough to seat your students, along with some space for the practical exercises.  If there is enough room we like to use a data projector and whitescreen, along with a flipchart, to aid understanding. We can supply this equipment ourselves.

Cost :   

Up to 6 students,  £81 (£95 incl. vat) then just £5(incl. vat) per head for any over 6
