Content :    

This course covers a range of topics specific to first aid for children. If you have topics specific to your own environment you would like included, just let us know.

The course meets the requirements needed for the voluntary part of the Ofsted Childcare Register (OCR)

Assessment :  

There is no formal assessment for this course. The tutor will assess each student during the course, ensuring that the information is fully understood

Certification :  A Certificate of Attendance is issued  and is valid for 3 years.

Who should take this course? :  

This is suitable for anyone who is caring for children and needs a good knowledge of first aid. It is particularly suitable for Parents, Babysitters, Au-Pairs and Nannies who would like to join the voluntary part of the OCR.

What do I need to host this course? :

A room big enough to seat your students, along with some space for the practical exercises.  We like to use a data projector and whitescreen, along with a flipchart, to aid understanding. We can supply this equipment ourselves.

FREE ANNUAL REFRESHER :

We have devised a mixed media refresher course, which can be taken online, except for the practical element. This is included in the price of this course, There is a small charge of £60 for the practical skills check.  The usual price for a refresher course is £325(12), £195(6)
